Fortified in Purpose was founded by Ariel Walker—a wife, mother of five, certified life coach, and passionate advocate for youth. Guided by her Christian faith and inspired by her experiences as a mother, Ariel recognized the need for positive, affordable programs after witnessing firsthand how the middle school years can shape a child's confidence, character, and future.

With a heart to serve and a calling from God to invest in the next generation, she created Fortified in Purpose as a place where young Kings and Queens are encouraged, mentored, and empowered to discover who they are, build lasting confidence, strengthen their character, and boldly walk in their God-given purpose.

Our hope is that every child who walks through our doors leaves knowing they are seen, valued, loved, capable, and never alone. Because when we invest in our youth, we strengthen families, uplift communities, and help build a brighter future for generations to come.

Brittney Nelson proudly serves as Secretary for Fortified in Purpose, where she is dedicated to supporting the organization's mission of empowering youth, strengthening families, and creating lasting community impact.

With more than 15 years of experience in Human Resources, Brittney is passionate about helping others, building meaningful relationships, and fostering personal and professional growth. She brings strong organizational skills, integrity, and a collaborative spirit to the Board of Directors, helping ensure the organization operates with excellence and purpose.
